Infections Due to Brush Teeth

Toothbrush handy for cleaning the teeth of various bacteria or leftover food. But if it is not kept clean may cause infection.

Without realizing it, actually a lot of bacteria, fungi and viruses that can settle on a toothbrush. If a contaminated toothbrush is used, then the microorganisms that can infect the mouth and teeth.

Coliform bacteria, the bacteria are commonly found in the bathroom and can infect.
Herpes simplex virus, a virus that can cause cold sores.

Most of the people could be at risk of infection from microorganisms that contaminate toothbrushes. People who are most exposed to infection berisko toothbrush is:
People who have an infection in the oral
People with impaired immune systems
People who are undergoing chemotherapy, bone marrow transplantation or other organ.

To prevent contamination from microorganisms are suggested:
Replace the toothbrush every 3 months.

American Dental Association (ADA) provides an important criterion in choosing a toothbrush that is:

Avoid toothbrushes with hard bristles
Avoid brushing the wrong way for example is too hard, because it can damage tooth enamel and gums that can lead to infection.
